A highly aromatic wine, the 2025 Pinot Grigio exhibits nuanced notes of beurre bosc pear, guava and white florals. Description
Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are two stylistic variations of the same grape variety. Pinot Gris is made in a French style - generally picked a little later to allow for fuller, more plush flavours to develop, while Pinot Grigio is made in the classic Italian style. Pinot Grigio is picked earlier in the season when the grapes retain a higher level of natural acidity, but still possess a bright and zesty fruit. After harvesting, the fruit is immediately pressed into a stainless steel fermenter where the free run juice is separated from the pressings, allowing for a clean and vibrant final product rich in pear, guava and white floral notes. The juice is then cold-settled before undergoing a low temperature ferment. Any finings and acid adjustments are made before final filtration and bottling. Our Pinot Grigio is bottled early to retain freshness and vibrancy, made in a drink-now style.
